(Bangkok, March 2020) – From now until 31st of March, Chef de Cuisine Sylvain Royer and team at Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant invites you to experience a special menu of the finest freshwater and ocean fish, flown in fresh from the renowned Rungis Market in Paris.
Known as ‘the belly of Paris’, Rungis Market is the world’s largest wholesale market for fresh produce. It attracts more than 20,000 visitors a day, among them numerous chefs and restauranteurs who come to select the country’s best produce.
Throughout March, Scarlett Bangkok brings the real market right in front of you with the daily catch fresh off the boat. Menus will vary from sharing platters to a la carte dishes depending on what has been flown in that day. Highlights will include seasonal freshwater perch and pike, and premium quality fish caught along the Brittany coast such as turbot, John Dory, Dover sole, sea bass, lined-caught sea bream, red mullet, mackerel, anchovies, scorpion fish, lemon sole, and stingray. There will also be fabulous brown crab weighing in at more than one kilograms, lobster, mussels and oysters.
Inspired by the bountiful catch of fish and crustaceans, chefs at Scarlett will create daily changing menus to entice and delight. Lovers of freshwater fish and seafood can enjoy relaxed evenings at the chic rooftop restaurant indulging in Parisian-style dishes cooked to perfection.
