20 May 2020, Bangkok – Lazada, the leading eCommerce platform in Southeast Asia, has partnered with Elephant Nature Park in Mae Taeng, Chang Mai, to offer virtual tours to its Thai shoppers via LazLive, the platform’s livestreaming feature (https://s.lazada.co.th/s.1VKyT).
While the Park remains closed during the pandemic, this initiative will continue to support nature conservation and the well-being of the elephants. In addition, the initiative also supports the local communities, providing local coffee farmers with an income stream when consumers buy their products from Elephant Nature Park, available online on Lazada platform.

The virtual tours will promote the “Drink Coffee, Save Elephants” campaign, which will see all profits from sales of the ENP COFFEE products donated to support Save Elephant Foundation’s activities. These include the operation of mobile animal clinics in remote local communities and medical care for more than 3,000 animals that the foundation has rescued.
By leveraging its eCommerce technology capabilities, Lazada is ready to support the Thai tourism industry through this challenging period, and continue to help sustain the local economy.
