The Gallery 36 at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G is delighted to present its latest art exhibition, “Ano’s Wonder Horror Land”, a solo exhibition by talented Thai artist, Ano (Nae Anothai). Art lovers can see her work on show at the 36th floor gallery from 13th July until 30th September, 2018.
Nae Anothai Niruttimetee, also known as Ano, is a Bangkok-based graphic designer and illustrator. She graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, with a bachelor and master degrees in Communication Art and Design. She has collaborated on projects for international brands, as well as wall painting for shops and restaurants all over Thailand and in Melbourne.
Ano’s work is influenced by doodling and surrealist vibes that flow from her unconscious mind. Often perceived as being fun, playful and childish, her colourful graphic style is inspired by the world around her and the belief that mistakes can lead to new ideas.
The concept of her first solo exhibition, “Ano’s Wonder Horror Land” illustrates the truth about life under the rule of nature and how a bad day can turn into a wonderful day. Through her creative use of line drawings, she encourages the viewers to look at life from a different perspective as they are left believing that anything in Ano’s world is possible.
An opening party will be held on Friday 13th July from 6:30PM until 9PM at The Gallery on the 36th floor of Pullman Bangkok Hotel G on Silom Road. The exhibition will run until 30th September 2018.
Entry is free. The Gallery is open daily from 10AM – 5PM. For more details or to purchase artwork, please contact Ms. Betty Pongstaporn at 02 352 4000 ext. 1419 or email nicha@pullmanbangkokhotelg.com.
